Cyber Monday Favorite One-Stop Shop

Tick-tock. Tick-tock.
It's almost here… Cyber Monday! If you didn't get enough shopping during Black Friday - here's your chance to save BIG on hot ticket items and your gift list.

Here are my recommendations for the best place to check out this Cyber Monday.

Amazon.

Pretty much looks like it's going to be the best one-stop shop. Beginning at midnight, Amazon is definitely not holding anything back to give us the biggest sales and best deals of the season.

They have what's known as "lightening deals" which are (as defined by Amazon) as
"a promotion in which a limited number of discounts are offered on an item for a short period of time." Be sure to check the site as often as possible to see what discounts are being offered. I recommend starting a "Wish List" if you haven't already, on the items you are wanting to buy, so you can see how much the price has dropped and the percentage of savings.

Here are just a few of the many deals Amazon will be offering:

  • Up to 50% off popular books
  • Tons, and I mean TONS of electronic deals!
  • Up to 50% off select top toys
  • 40% Lincoln Logs Redwood Junction (Exclusive to Amazon)
  • Up to 70% off New Balance and ASICS running clothing
  • Up to 70% jewelry

That's only just a few things that I found for Amazon when scouting for my own Cyber Monday deals. Good luck tonight and throughout the week on your deals! It definitely feels great to save!

Freebie Fridays: What's FREE With Coupons Currently

We have moved to a new home! Come visit us at Capturing Inspirations at capturinginspirations.com!

Here are the latest freebies you can find using coupons!

Remember to check back throughout the week! I keep updating this list until the next Friday Freebies rolls out!

New here? 'Like' our page on Facebook! Thanks for your support!

If you find one that I missed, comment below and I will update the list according. Happy Friday!

Keep in mind these freebies do not involve "doubled" coupons and also reflect a true buy one, get one sale (when included). Check your local area prices to be sure you can match these deals, as some may be regional. Also check expirations dates on coupons, since many freebie deals have a short window before they expire.

11/21 Publix Shopping Trip: $97 Worth in Groceries for $8!! With Shopper Link Ups!

We have moved to a new home! Come visit us at Capturing Inspirations at capturinginspirations.com!

Welcome (and welcome back!) to my weekly Publix shopping trip blog post! This post is where I put together some of the best weekly sales and match them with the best coupons and keep my OOP under $10 when possible. I have linked up the printable coupons in my list so you can recreate the same deals for you and your family!

Well it's starting to feel more like Thanksgiving is in our future with the new ad this week at Publix. I must admit, I was pretty excited about this week. So many BOGOs and a great week to use the Target $10/$50 coupon that came in the Target ad from this past Sunday's paper. Lots of savings this week - and lets face it- I'd rather spend less at the grocery store and save more for the upcoming expensive month of December.

I've got a little boy who's love for Thomas the Train has now turned obsessive and has a few wooden trains on his list for santa. I don't know if you've ever seen the price on those trains but they are NOT cheap! We were blessed to get the wooden train set by another fire fighter who worked with my husband. His boys had recently outgrew Thomas right before Christmas last year. We were able to set up the entire train set in the playroom the night before Christmas (took HOURS with both my husband and I working on it, and a few adult beverages) and when he woke up Christmas morning, Santa had brought him exactly what he asked for. His excitement - I will remember forever. So, needless to say, Santa can't let this little boy down this year. Cutting grocery costs are a good place to start to allocate those dollars to gifts instead of, say, shredded cheese!

Some of you have asked me how I manage these shopping trips with two littles. I wrote a fun post on Tricks for Smooth Shopping with Toddlers for your reading pleasure. I hope you enjoy it!

What deals are you excited about this week? If you're reading this to plan your trip, come back and share how you did! You can link up your shopping trip below or leave it in a comment!

Print Them! Tuesdays: What's On My List

I have purged quite a few expired coupons this week, so I can make room for the new ones. I had a lot of 10/31 and 11/9 expirations, so now I have a whole mess of valid ones. We have so many fantastic coupons available right now, that it will hopefully make our heavy grocery bills during the Thanksgiving holiday MUCH lighter. I also plan to pick up a few extra items to add to my donation pile.

Here are the ones I am making sure not to miss out on while they are still in print:

(Plus it gives you a little sneak peak into some of the deals I'm planning to pick up)

End of the Month Printable Coupons: Save Money By Planning Ahead

It's easy to get caught up in our very busy days. It's easy to find ourselves scribbling down a few things on a list to get at the store and then rushing out to get what we need only then to realize we left our coupons at home...OR coupons still in tact in the Sunday paper inserts we've been saving but haven't made time to do anything with.

Well, let me let you in on a little secret. You need to plan out a few minutes of time during your week to cut out or print out a few coupons you could use. My quick and favorite way of doing this is by scouting out a few printable coupons to print, then cutting them out right away to stash in my purse or car. That way, you can always save a few dollars each week with minimum effort. Your coupons are always with you. Those dollars each week end up saving you lots of cash, and as we all know, little things do add up!

The end of the month is here again and many of the printable coupons you will see won't be around much longer. However, many won't expire for another few weeks. Many great deals you see skilled couponers put together sometimes include coupons that "are not longer in print" so don't let those deals get away from you.

Here are some of my favorites I will be printing (links to the coupon sites):
