Football Sunday is the my favorite time to test out those fun, crowd-pleasing appetizers that are on my Pinterest pinboard and I am always looking for an excuse to make. Last Sunday, I made the absolute BEST slow cooker buffalo chicken dip. It was seriously good stuff.

This Sunday, I was craving our family favorite spinach dip. This is a quick and simple recipe to make and is always a crowd pleaser. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Ingredients:

(1) 10 oz. package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed
(1) 14 oz. can of artichoke hearts, drained
2 or 3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup of shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup of grated Romano cheese
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sour cream

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9X13 inch baking dish.
In a food processor, place the artichoke hearts, romano and parmesan cheese, and garlic into the processor bowl. Pulse until chopped, but not ground and set aside.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix together spinach, heavy cream, sour cream and mozzarella cheese. Stir in the artichoke mixture. Spoon into prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve up with your favorite tortilla chips and enjoy!
